The species is known from the Cordillera Central of Colombia, and one record from Panama. Miller (2009) reports a closely-related, undescribed species from western Ecuador.Characteristics
J. interrupta may be distinguished from other Josia by its narrow orange stripes, and its relatively quadrate forewings.References
