Sam Donovan
I am an assistant professor of science education in the department of instruction and learning at the University of Pittsburgh. I have a lot of experience teaching undergraduate biology and doing both curriculum and faculty development. My primary research interests relate to the ways that instruction that emphasizes discipline specific practices (adopting particular assumptions, methods for collecting and analyzing data, and norms for argumentation) support learning about science.
